Designed with the purpose of giving anglers a hook with an extra-long shanks they have an extra half-length of shank over a standard hook. This allows longer baits like worms, grubs and saltwater yabbies to present perfectly with a quick half hitch around the bait and the hook eye to keep everything in place.
